Important update: Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) 
Baseball Canberra has released its final, Board-approved WWVP Policy and Policy Statement, which applies to all BC and club persons involved with vulnerable people.
As part of this, Baseball Canberra is introducing a centralised WWVP Register for all clubs, which will be updated and completed over the coming weeks.
What this means for your club
- Your Junior VP will become the ‘gatekeeper’ and manage WWVP compliance at the club level.
- Junior VPs will also brief their club executives on these changes and BC’s expectations.
- Coaches, managers and volunteers working with vulnerable persons must ensure that their WWVP registration is current and recorded in accordance with BC policy.
- Further details will be shared in the league coaching chats to bring all club coaches up to speed.
